Guitars International with the professional help of our friend, concert and recording artist John Holmquist, first commissioned Vazquez Rubio to build his Hauser Model a number of years ago. It has since become his best selling guitar.

Inspired by Andres Segovia's revered 1937 Hauser I guitar now residing in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the sound of these instruments is warm and focused, possessed of a flexibility and sheen, complexity and elegance, breadth of color and character, power and depth that is distinctly musical, distinctly beautiful. Suffice it to say, this exceptionally talented maker builds from the heart.
