Guitars International is honored to offer to its customers the beautiful handcrafted classical and flamenco guitars of German Vazquez Rubio (also sometimes referred to as G.V. Rubio, German V. Rubio, German Rubio and German Vazquez).
Vazquez Rubio's Hauser Model Special is his premiere concert instrument. It was with this Model that Vazquez Rubio won First Place in the Concert Guitar Category of the Concurso Nacional de Consructores y Ejecutantes de Guitarras 2000. Maestro Vazquez Rubio recently honored Guitars International by presenting this award winning guitar to us.
Commissioned first a number of years ago by Guitars International and our friend, Naxos concert and recording artist John Holmquist, this is an even smoother gutsier more powerful version of the exceptional Indian rosewood Hauser Model discussed elsewhere. Materials: Old dark Br. sides and back, prime select European spr. soundboard, flamed maple bindings, gorgious French polish of shellac finish, Fuestero tuning machines (Rodgers precision tuning machine heads (the finest in the world - as pictured for an additional charge), deluxe double arched hardshell case, 650mm string length, Galli strings, one year written warranty.
